Live Bug Treats

In their natural habitat, many primates forage for insects, grubs and worms. Many primates use sticks or reeds to reach into insect nests to retrieve a tasty snack. Providing live, natural insect-type treats for captive primates offers a unique feeding challenge and a natural nutritional source. Many years ago, insects were given to captive primates routinely as a protein supplement.
