Milk Substitute for Infant Nonhuman Primates

This outstanding milk substitute meets the special needs of both New and Old World nonhuman primate infants. It is a must for foster nursing when primates are rejected, abused, or exhibiting signs of illness. Folic acid and vitamin C requirements of New World monkeys appear to be appreciably greater than the levels found in human milk substitutes. Their requirements are met with Primilac which has been successfully used in major primate nurseries for over 15 years. Selenium, Chromium, and Fluoride, which are not added to human formulas, have proven to be essential elements that are provided in Primilac along with balanced vitamins and minerals.

Mixing Directions:

Shake & Pour Formula: Simply mix with warm tap water and shake for approximately 1 minute until dissolved. Refrigerate unused portion up to 3 days. Prepared diet should not be kept longer than 48 hours at room temperature.

The nutritional content on every lot of diet is analyzed by an independent laboratory prior to shipment. The results of analysis are available upon request.
