The crawl balls construction of transparent red and amber (yellowish brown) polycarbonate provides excellent entertainment for rats and other similarly sized animals. As a result of the Crawl Balls light-diffusing material, animals inside appear to experience a sense of security and hiding even though they remain visible to personnel.

A Word of Caution: The use of strong alkaline detergents or chemicals can leave deposits or residue on the polycarbonate which upon autoclaving may result in pitting and clouding of the polycarbonate object
