Cleaning Guidelines: Bio-Serv’s Enrichment Devices are cagewasher safe and can withstand routine cleaning temperatures up to 180 F. Enrichment devices which are listed as “Autoclavable” can be autoclaved at 250 F for 15 minutes.
A Word of Caution (Polycarbonate products): The use of strong alkaline or acid detergents or chemicals can leave deposits or residue on polycarbonate which may result in pitting, splitting, and clouding of the polycarbonate object.*
*For more specific cleaning instructions, we recommend that you speak with your detergent vendor for expert advice. We will be happy to consult with your detergent vendor when developing cleaning SOP’s.
